Vines age in range from 20 years to 45 years. This is classically what they used to call “passe-tout grain” and has 2/3 gamay and 1/3 pinot noir. The Gamay and Pinot noir are harvested separately and there is no co-fermenting. The wine is vinified in stainless steel. The soil is clay-limestone and the vines (both Gamay and Pinot Noir) are located on East facing slopes. As with all the wines, only estate grown-fruit is used.
