Vibrant black cherry color. On the nose; red and black berries (blackcurrant) with hints of violet. Full, silky, earthy and fresh on the pallet the blackcurrant is on the palette as well with a touch raspberry and white pepper, with a surprisingly long finish bursting with delicious black fruits. A classy and elegant cotes du rhone that is a welcome departure from the mass produced wines too often found in this area. Can go well with a range of foods, especially simply cooked red meats, grilled meats and poultry. Can be consumed young or enjoyed for 4-5 years.
