For some time now we have been looking to source our own Lambrusco that would be representative of our company.  To that end we wanted to work with a producer of high quality wines not just a large commercial brand kicking our millions of bottles annually. Instead we were looking  for someone who made a name for themselves by producing artisanal wines but for our project a wine that could be enjoyed by everyone and under $15.
After a long search we are so excited to introduce our Fizi Lambrusco.

Fizi comes from the Reggio Emilia area of Emilia Romagna and is comprised of a blend of three grapes, Lambrusco Salamino, Lambrusco Maestri, and Lambrusco Marani.  We like to think of it as the perfect wine for a party filled with friends, music and some foods to pick on.  That is not to say that this is not the perfect pizza wine because it absolutely is that too, as well as a wine to drink always chilled but perhaps at a picnic.  Heck, we had it at the office with prosciutto and cheese when we first tried it and went nuts for the price to quality aspect. It brought us right back to a memorable night in Modena. We also thought it was a wine to please both the novice wine lover as well as something that your somm friends would be pleased with.

It comes from vineyards in Novellara and it is in the Secco style so it is basically dry but with 12g RS for a perfect balance.
Intense ruby red color with a fruity nose and on the palate it is fresh, lively and persistent with good body.

‘This wine is dangerously drinkable!’
