Salto is a tasty fresh white wine, pale yellow with a hint of green made from pure Grillo grapes. Intense aroma with a variety of white flowers together with citrus notes. In the palate it is pleasant and harmonious, of a good complexity with a fresh and sapid ending.

Origin: hills around Licodia Eubea, in the far south-eastern part of Sicily .

Vineyard: in the hills surrounding the vale of the Dirillo river.

Vine: Grillo

Pruning technique: Guyot

Harvest: End of August, beginning of September

Winemaking: short cold maceration fermentation with the skin, followed by a soft press of the must at 16°/17° C in stainless steel tanks.

Alcohol content: 12,5/13% vol.

Colour: pale yellow with hints of green

Taste: pleasant and harmonious, of a good complexity with a fresh and sapid ending
